False, Ceramic Coatings LOVE maintenance. One of the main benefits to coating your vehicle is that the maintenance becomes easier. It does not replace the need to wash your vehicle. Failure to maintain and properly wash your car after getting a coating, in most cases, results in a clogged coating and lackluster performance. If you would like to let us maintain your vehicle, we have a subscription program that ensure you never have to worry about that during the lifetime of your coating.
Yes, and No. We have honed and developed our process to be able to be installed anywhere. While it makes it easier to have access to a garage during the coating process. We have learned to adapt to installations in covered parking and even in uncovered parking with our canopy to block the elements while we polish, prep, and install your coating.
While there are coatings on the market advertised to last 5+ and even 10 years. What we've found is that rarely do they withstand the test of time. There isn't enough evidence of a true 10 year coating on the market that can hold up to Texas weather. In most cases a 10 year coating will need an additional application or top coat within the first 5 years to really give you 10 years of performance. This is a detail that some companies neglect to inform the customer of, resulting in additional cost down the road. Most detailers, installers, and coating companies (with exception of a very few) have even been in business long enough to have substantial evidence of a coating lasting 10 years
False, While many companies CLAIM that their ceramic coating will harden your paint's surface. This minor difference in hardness does not result in your clear coat being protected from physical damage caused by, impacts from rock chips, abusive automatic brushes, or improper drying technique. The real benefit is chemical resistance and increase slickness that allows water and other elements to be removed from your paint's surface with minimal effort. Decrease effort means less chance of scratching during the washing and drying of your vehicle.
False, While it is highly recommended. Paint Correction is not necessary. Should you choose to not go forward with paint correction before your coating install we will still prep, and conduct a light polish to ensure your paint is in top condition to be coated.
Unless you're having multiple stages of paint correction done, or simply have a massive vehicle (RV, Boat, Helicopter, Place) We can polish, prep, and coat your vehicle within a day. A typical coating install takes us 8-10 hours for most vehicles and it can be done in your driveway/garage Your vehicle is safe to drive the next day and even that night encountering slight moisture.
